Electronic Visa Waivers
You can get an electronic visa waiver (‘EVW’) instead of a visa if you are a national of:
- Bahrain
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates
You can apply for the EVW between 3 months and 48 hours before your scheduled arrival in the UK, and it costs £30.00 to apply. If the application is approved, you will be allowed to visit the UK for a maximum of 6 months. The EVW can only be used once, so it might be advisable to apply for a Standard Visitor Visa if you will be making multiple trips in and out of the UK.
