We have recently been successful in securing our client a UK business with their Sponsor Licence under the Skilled Worker route as well as the Global Business Mobility route. The Global Business Mobility route is a category whereby it allows businesses in the UK to sponsor their overseas staff to the UK for a specific business purpose. It thus allows businesses in the UK to facilitate International expansion; enhances workforce flexibility; streamlines recruitment of skilled talent and empowers flexibility.

The Sponsor Licence will now allow our client to assign the relevant Certificate of Sponsorships so that their employees can apply under the Senior or Specialist Worker visa. The Senior or Specialist Worker visa replaces the previous Intra-Company Transfer visa. The main eligibility criteria remain unchanged however there is an increase in the minimum salary which is now £48,500 or the going rate for the relevant occupation code.
